John is a highly experienced and well respected expert in the planning of construction projects particularly in the early stages of design and development. His career has spanned over 40 years and has involved the integrated planning and logistics development of major projects across the World.

John started his career with George Wimpey where he spent over 30 years working in the UK, the Middle East, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Caribbean. In 1995, as part of the Tarmac/Wimpey asset swap, he joined Schal, the Construction Management arm of Tarmac where he led the planning activity on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK. Whilst his career has focused on building projects he has experience in civil and process engineering including a 3 year secondment to ARAMCO in Saudi Arabia, where he led the Planning and Cost Monitoring team.

In 2001 John retired and established his own planning consultancy.

Working with some of the World’s leading Designers and Contractor’s he has concentrated his efforts on providing “front end” strategic planning and logistical advice for projects across the Middle East and UK. As another great advocate of “early contractor involvement” John understands and promotes the advantages and added value that can be achieved in the early stages of a development.

John is based in London, UK, but has worked and lived in a number of countries during his professional career. He has a BSc in Civil Engineering.
